The main floor of the House can accommodate seated dining, small gatherings, and receptions in its three connected rooms. Upstairs, the Suite is available for rental as a weekend stay or get-ready space before an event as part of your DeGroodt experience. Enjoy all of the amenities of Excelsior--the Commons park, Lake Minnetonka, bike trails, and Excelsior's festivals and events--during your private celebration at the DeGroodt House.

The interior of the House contains many original features and vintage fixtures. The ground floor has several adjoining rooms that are suitable for small intimate gatherings, weddings or dinner parties.

Events may also be planned for outside the House. The property features one of the last remaining areas of wooded open space in downtown Excelsior, which is available for outdoor event rental.

The upstairs suite is fully furnished and available for rent alongside the event spaces. It provides a comfortable private retreat during event preparations, as well as convenient access to downtown Excelsior.
